Basic Wound Care (part 1 of 2) Virtual session via Teams
This virtual session is a full day 9.30- 4pm with 30 mins break for lunch.
The session is delivered by our basic wound care supertrainer Abigail Holman

Wound assessment and documentation
Wound management and debridement
Exudate management and cleansing
Wound infection and dressing selection
Factors affecting wound healing

Skin tears
Simple lacerations
Simple skin burns
Malignancy flags
Sutures and clip removal
Safeguarding
You MUST have a camera and microphone to join this session
The second face to face half day must be booked separately and must be completed to achieve certification
