National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT)

Assisting someone to quit smoking is a life saving intervention. Very Brief Advice on Smoking (VBA+) is designed to promote quitting and can be delivered in almost any situation with a person who smokes in less than 30 seconds. This 30 minute module will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed so that you can feel confident in delivering VBA+.

GatewayC is an online educational platform for UK primary care professionals (like GPs) to help them improve early cancer diagnosis.

Access is free (funded by LSC Cancer Alliance) for all primary care staff within Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Very Brief Advice (VBA) Training (Smokefree Lancashire)

Find out what Smokefree Lancashire is all about and how you can help spread the word to your own clients and service users.
Free for for those who work or volunteer in Lancashire (Lancashire County Council footprint does not include Blackburn with Darwen or Blackpool).

Smokefree Lancashire have created a free training resource for you, so you can raise awareness around our service and how your service users can access our service.
