- Recognise clinical red flags suggesting bronchiectasis rather than COPD.
- Interpret spirometry and imaging findings within the appropriate clinical context.
- Identify when HRCT is indicated and refer confidently for specialist assessment.
- Differentiate management priorities between COPD and bronchiectasis in primary care.
