Fire Safety in the Care Setting with Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service
Available to Social Care staff working within the Lancashire and South Cumbria postcodes only.

Contents of the training include
- LFRS will share themes/learning from across Lancashire fire safety inspections
- How providers should address this important element of running/delivering a care service
- How fire safety fits in with the decision making/day to day activities.
- What ‘Good’ looks like to LFRS
- Common findings from Fire Safety Officer audits in residential care settings; highlighting the difference between purpose built and converted
The training is entirely online learning which is led by a tutor in real time. You will need access to a computer and internet during all the training, preferably the trainer will need to be able to see and hear from you as the training will be interactive.
NB As spaces are limited, we request that you register a maximum of 2 staff from each care organisation.
