Wessex AHSN and NHS BSA 2nd Opioid Prescribing Comparators webinar
The NHS BSA and Wessex AHSN have a long history of collaborating on primary care medicines dashboards that help improve patient care and improve medication safety. In May 2022, we published the first version of an NHS BSA Opioid Prescribing Comparators dashboard which used live EPS data. Building on this publication, we are now pleased to announce a second publication of validated data in ePACT2. This will enable GP practices, PCNs, ICBs, NHS Regions and AHSNs to review trend data over time to see the impact of activities in this complex area of reducing harm from Opioid prescribing. This trend data will be available for both the Overall Opioids and Opioids Duration comparators, with Opioid co-prescriptions and Liquid Oral Morphine to be released soon.
