Competency sign off for delegates new to ring pessary
If you are new to ring pessary you will need a competency sign off assessor.
Ideally this would be completed in your Practice by someone who is appropriately trained in ring pessary. An appropriately trained person is someone who has completed ring pessary training and is confident and competent in this procedure.
Alternatively we have women’s health supertrainers who are able to sign off those who do not have a trained ring pessary fitter in Practice.
We are also offering face to face practical sessions for ring pessary where the skill can be practised on a gynaecological mannequin. These sessions will be advertised as soon as the dates have been finalised.
Although we have attached our own competency sign off document please refer to your Practice and adhere to your own organisational policy with regards to training and competency sign off.
Once you have been signed off as competent we invite you to register as a competent ring pessary fitter on a Lancashire and South Cumbria register. We will make the link to this available to you once you have completed your training
