Overview

More than 1 in 3 practices in England are now using a new digital registration service Register with a GP surgery which aims to make GP registration easier for practices and patients.

Now NHS have surpassed their initial target to enrol 2,000 practices by the end of 2023 in line with the commitment in the Primary Care Access Recovery Plan, learn what is next for the service, including recent improvements based on practice feedback, such as how the service handles ‘Out of Area’ registrations.

In this webinar you’ll also hear more about NHS Digital’s collaborative work to ensure NHS colleagues working in practices, PCNs and ICBs can make the most of our new national service.

NHS Digital will also update you on our latest service statistics and aim to answer your questions about the service, which is currently in use in every ICB in England.

This webinar will be of interest to GP practice staff who are responsible for registering new patients and want to hear the latest progress and peer-led guidance on how to use the service.

It will also be useful insight for colleagues working in digital and primary care transformation roles, with practical examples of how to gradually roll the service out across an area and key information about stakeholder organisations.
