Joint Health and Wellbeing Coach and Care Coordinator share and learn
This will be a joint webinar for Health and Wellbeing Coaches and Care Coordinators, which will focus on Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Rheumatoid arthritis is a long-term condition that causes pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints. The hands, feet and wrists are commonly affected, but it can also cause problems in other parts of the body. Attendees will find out more about rheumatoid arthritis and how best to support people living with the condition.
We will be joined by Ailsa Bosworth, National Patient Champion from the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society. (NRAS) who will be sharing knowledge and best practice around supporting people with this long-term condition. As a person with lived experience of the condition, Ailsa will highlight the common issues faced by people and dispel some common misconceptions, including how rheumatoid arthritis differs from other forms of arthritis. Ailsa will also be sharing some free resources, developed by NRAS, which can be used to help develop attendees understanding of RA, as well as information about referral pathways for additional support for patients.
Registration for this event closes at 9am 29 November. Joining instructions will be sent via email to all registrants the morning of the webinar
We look forward to seeing you there
