Spirometry Skills Workshop
Event Description
Available throughout the year at Fatima Health Centre, 228 Garstang Rd, Fulwood, Preston PR2 9QB (1st Floor)
The session will include verification of the spirometer using a 3 litre syringe and an opportunity to practice performing spirometry with an experienced clinical educator.
The workshops welcome General Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Nursing Associates, Trainee Nursing Associates, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Student Nurses, Student Nurse Paramedics, Physician Associates… anyone with a clinical role within Primary Care that is already trained in spirometry
PLEASE BRING A DISPOSIBLE MOUTHPIECE TO THE SESSION
- Please note this workshop is not a formal training session and the purpose is to support delegates in building on knowledge and skills already learnt from previous formal training.
Delegates must join the session from the start time and leave once they feel they have gained enough from the workshop: there is no requirement to stay for the full 3 hours.
You will receive a certificate post-training for your attendance.
