Launch of the Neurodiversity Toolkit

The NHS England, North West, Workforce, Training & Education (WT&E) Directorate would like to invite you to participate in a webinar, ‘The needs of neurodiverse students in clinical practice and launch of the Neurodiversity Toolkit’.

The webinar will focus on learners who are neurodivergent in clinical practice, and will be introduced by Jean Hayles, Deputy Regional Head of Nursing, Midwifery & Public Health (WT&E) NHS England, North West.

Guest speakers include :

  • Katy Fisher, Practice Education Facilitator, Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and Mark Arnold, Head of Practice Placements and Employability, Liverpool John Moores University who will discuss the needs of learners in practice who are neurodivergent and launch the neurodiversity toolkit.
  • Jo Sullivan, Senior Lecturer, The University of Salford will introduce a project to ensure a ‘soft landing’ and continued support for autistic student nurses in clinical environments.
