DESCRIPTION:The aim of this paediatric phlebotomy training course is to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge\, skills\, and confidence to safely and effectively perform paediatric blood draws. Please note that you must meet the pre-requisites before applying for this course. \nLocation\n1st Floor Conference Room\, Fatima Health Centre\, 228 Garstang Road\, Preston\,  PR2 9QB \nCourse Summary\nThis phlebotomy course is designed to teach you the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively perform paediatric phlebotomy. The course covers key topics such as patient consent and interaction\, pain relief\, blood collection methods and physiological differences across age groups. \n\nPlease note: This course contains a full practical (face-to-face) session.\n\nWill attending this training make me competent?\nIn short\, no. The training Caring for Care that provide includes classroom competency sign-off however\, you will require ‘workplace competency sign-off\,’ after completing the course. DESCRIPTION:May – Workforce\, Supervision & Skill Mix  \nDES: Workforce transformation\, ARRS  \nLES: Workforce sustainability  \n\nARRS nursing roles (NA\, ACP\, TNs\, Care Coordinators) \n\n\nSupervision\, preceptorship\, clinical safety \n\n\nRetention\, wellbeing and flexible working\n\nLancashire and South Cumbria Primary Care Training Hub’s PCN Lead Nurse Forums are held monthly for 30 minutes \nThe Forum provides useful resources\, regular update of communications from local Integrated Care Board such as Infection Control and Safeguarding and National Steer. It allows nurses to share best practice and innovation across the system\, collectively raise any nurse issues and provides peer support. \n\nAs part of the General Practice Nurse Programme in Lancashire and South Cumbria\, we have funding for a Lead Nurse in Primary Care Networks to join our collaborative. The collaborative is continuing the work from the GPN10PP to collectively work together to support all nurses in Primary Care.\n​\n​This is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact.
