DESCRIPTION:This phlebotomy course is designed to teach you the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a phlebotomist. You will gain hands-on practice using a lifelike arm simulator to master venepuncture techniques. \nThe aim of this phlebotomy training course is to teach learners how to safely take blood samples for tests or donation\, while keeping patients comfortable and following UK health and safety guidelines. The training is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience. \n\nLocation\nLytham Primary Care Centre\, Victoria Street\, Lytham St Annes\, Lancashire\, FY8 5DZ\n\nCourse Summary\n\n The course covers key topics such as anatomy\, blood collection methods\, patient interaction\, safety from bloodborne diseases\, and the ethical guidelines you must follow. You will receive a certificate post-training for your attendance. \nPlease note: This course contains a full practical (face-to-face) session. \n\nWill attending this training make me competent?\nIn short\, no. Caring for Care’s classroom-based assessments are designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace competency.
