DESCRIPTION:Immunisation and Vaccination Annual Update Training for Primary Care staff within Lancashire and South Cumbria -hosted on MS Teams \n\n\nThe Immunisation and Vaccination Update provides an annual update of current practice in relation to the immunisation schedules in primary care using PHE guidance.\nThis training includes NHS Travel Vaccines given for free under the Crown Scheme and does not include travel vaccines outside this schedule\nThis course is not suitable as foundation training and is only an update and does not cover anaphylaxis or basic life support. DESCRIPTION:March – Outcomes\, Assurance & Forward Planning  \nDES: End-of-year assurance  \nLES: Evaluation  \n\nReview of outcomes and KPIs \n\n\nGap analysis \n\n\nPriorities for 2027–28 \n\nLancashire and South Cumbria Primary Care Training Hub’s PCN Lead Nurse Forums are held monthly for 30 minutes \nThe Forum provides useful resources\, regular update of communications from local Integrated Care Board such as Infection Control and Safeguarding and National Steer. It allows nurses to share best practice and innovation across the system\, collectively raise any nurse issues and provides peer support. \n\nAs part of the General Practice Nurse Programme in Lancashire and South Cumbria\, we have funding for a Lead Nurse in Primary Care Networks to join our collaborative. The collaborative is continuing the work from the GPN10PP to collectively work together to support all nurses in Primary Care.\n​\n​This is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact.
