DESCRIPTION:Fire Safety in the Care Setting with Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service \nAvailable to Social Care staff working within the Lancashire and South Cumbria postcodes only.\nMethod of learning: Microsoft Teams \nContents of the training include \n\nLFRS will share themes/learning from across Lancashire fire safety inspections\nHow providers should address this important element of running/delivering a care service\nHow fire safety fits in with the decision making/day to day activities.\nWhat ‘Good’ looks like to LFRS\nCommon findings from Fire Safety Officer audits in residential care settings; highlighting the difference between purpose built and converted\n\nThe training is entirely online learning which is led by a tutor in real time. You will need access to a computer and internet during all the training\, preferably the trainer will need to be able to see and hear from you as the training will be interactive. \nNB As spaces are limited\, we request that you register a maximum of 2 staff from each care organisation. \nPlease Note -ALL people attending the training are required to register\, to enable us to issue any certificates.
