SUMMARY:FeNO Masterclass: Asthma and Airway Inflammation
DESCRIPTION:The FeNO masterclass is designed for all healthcare providers who are performing and interpreting FeNO for the diagnosis and management of patients with asthma. \nThis session is suitable for those who are new to FeNO testing or as a refresher to update current knowledge. \n\nThe online education session is delivered by Karen Frankland\, Primary Care Respiratory Nurse and Lead Nurse for Education and Clinical Support for NIOX Healthcare. \n\nThe non-promotional\, hour-long session includes an overview of type 2 inflammatory airways disease\, measurement of nitric oxide and interpretation of results. Details of which are below. \n\n\nThe training will take place on MS Teams. \n\n\nThe Immunisation and Vaccination Foundation is a blended learning programme.\nThis training includes NHS Travel Vaccine schedules.\nThis is for those new to providing Immunisation and Vaccinations\nThis course does not cover anaphylaxis or basic life support. This must be completed separately.\n\n\n\nIn line with the Public Health England (2025) Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners\, we have developed a blended approach of both an e-learning and a face-to-face taught course which previously consisted of two full taught days. DESCRIPTION:Talk Cancer is for anyone in a position to promote health and wellbeing. \n\n\n\n\n\nFunded by Lancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance\, Talk Cancer is for anyone in a position to promote health and wellbeing. If you’re having conversations with people and are able to share health messages\, this workshop is for you. \nLancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance have funded this workshop and it is free for delegates currently employed in Lancashire and South Cumbria.\nIf you do not work in General Practice\, please select ‘Other‘ as your locality within the booking form. \nWe encourage attendance from: \n\nPharmacy Staff\nAny health and social care professionals\nPeople who work or volunteer in voluntary\, Community\, Faith\, and Social Enterprise organisations (VCSFE)\nPeople who would like to become a cancer awareness champion for their organisation\n\nTalking about cancer can save lives. It can break down barriers to seeking help and encourage people to take positive action for their health. SUMMARY:NHS Travel Vaccinations Update Training
DESCRIPTION:This NHS travel vaccinations update course provided by L&SC Training Hub is to update HCPs already experienced in providing the vaccinations available on the NHS as part of the Crown Scheme for travel. This training is not suitable for those who have not undertaken the Full Travel immunisation training course.\nL&SC training hub do NOT provide the Travel foundation course and therefore alternative providers must be sought.
