DESCRIPTION:This training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​. \n\nWe have changed the format of this training based on feedback. \nYou will receive the training slides for this event 7 days prior to the scheduled date for you to read through and digest in your own time- please book some time to do this. \nOn the training day we will meet for 90 minutes to discuss clinical supervision and to answer any queries you have. \nThis training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​\nAims \n\n\nHave an increased knowledge and understanding of Clinical Supervision\, linking theory to practice ​\nDifferentiate between Clinical Supervision and line/performance management and between Clinical Supervision and teaching​\nNegotiate Clinical Supervision contracts and structure processes\, accordingly\, taking in to account individual learning styles\n​Develop reflective interpersonal and supervisory skills such as:  reflective practice; giving guidance\, joint problem solving\, and offering feedback to enable the development of effective supervisory relationships.​  ​​\n\nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact. Please ensure you have a camera and microphone available to attend the meeting.\n\nYou will receive a certificate post training for your attendance.
