DESCRIPTION:The aim of this paediatric phlebotomy training course is to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge\, skills\, and confidence to safely and effectively perform paediatric blood draws. Please note that you must meet the pre-requisites before applying for this course. \nLocation\n1st Floor Conference Room\, Fatima Health Centre\, 228 Garstang Road\, Preston\,  PR2 9QB \nCourse Summary\nThis phlebotomy course is designed to teach you the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively perform paediatric phlebotomy. The course covers key topics such as patient consent and interaction\, pain relief\, blood collection methods and physiological differences across age groups. \n\nPlease note: This course contains a full practical (face-to-face) session.\n\nWill attending this training make me competent?\nIn short\, no. The training Caring for Care that provide includes classroom competency sign-off however\, you will require ‘workplace competency sign-off\,’ after completing the course.
