SUMMARY:Phlebotomy/Venepuncture Training - Preston
DESCRIPTION:This phlebotomy venepuncture training course is aimed at all healthcare staff\, specifically registered nurses\, carers and support workers who’s role include taking bloods.\n\nThis is ideal for staff who are looking to improve their skills in venepuncture. \n*This training is delivered at a cost of £67.50 per place for Social Care staff. Before you book on the course\, please make sure that your employer has agreed to cover the cost as they will be billed. If you are unable to attend you must cancel your place as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours before the event. If you do not attend without prior cancellation or cancel within our 48 hours notice period you will be charged.\n\nLocation: (1st Floor Conference Room) Fatima Health Centre\, 228 Garstang Road\, Preston\,  PR2 9QB \nUpon entering Fatima Health Centre\, please make your way to the first floor where you will find a waiting room situated on the left-hand side of the balcony. Please take a seat here and your trainer will collect you. \n\nThe Venepuncture Training will aim to improve the students’ knowledge of the theory surrounding venepuncture including: the correct order of draw\, the anatomy of veins and how to select a suitable site – allow students to practice using a synthetic arm.\n\nPlease note: This course contains a full practical (face-to-face) session.\n\nYou will receive a certificate post-training for your attendance. Places are limited\, if you have booked a place\, please ensure you attend.\n\nIf you are no longer able to attend\, please cancel your place. If you do not attend without prior cancellation (no later than 48 hours before the event)\, you may be charged.
