DESCRIPTION:As a Manager\, or an Assistant Manager who aspires to become a Practice Manager\, there are times when we need a little extra help. The offer is for group mentorship with a long standing experienced manager and qualified coach. This is a safe and confidential space to bring your thoughts and worries to take part in a facilitated conversation. \n\nEach group of 12 will be offered 4 sessions. Each session is 1 ½ hours in length. After each session they will be sent a write up of the sessions and anything relevant handouts as discussed in the session. If they cannot attend a session they will still get all of the handouts and write ups as they are part of the group. It is an interactive session- they must attend with a working camera and microphone as this is mentorship- so they will be talking and interacting. The offer is for group mentorship with a long standing experienced manager and qualified coach. This is a safe and confidential space to bring your thoughts and worries to take part in a facilitated conversation. \n\nEach group of 12 will be offered 4 sessions. Each session is 1 ½ hours in length. After each session they will be sent a write up of the sessions and anything relevant handouts as discussed in the session. If they cannot attend a session they will still get all of the handouts and write ups as they are part of the group. It is an interactive session- they must attend with a working camera and microphone as this is mentorship- so they will be talking and interacting. Please bring with you your stories and areas that you want to discuss. \n\n2) Wednesday 5th November\, 9.00am:  Finance:\nThis session works through finance questions that you have – from understanding your GMS statement to how to make the surgery more profitable. Please bring your questions and discussion topics with you. \n\n3) Thursday 20th November\, 2.00pm:  HR situations for discussion:\nThis session is a safe space to come with all of the questions that you have on HR – from partnership issues to staff disciplinary and grievances. Please bring your questions and discussion topics with you. \n\n4) Friday 28th November\, 2.00pm:  Resilience :\nThis session works through managers trying to remain resilient in challenging times – hints and tips. Please bring your questions and discussion topics with you.\nAlthough the headline subjects are in place- the mentees are able to ask burning questions if they have had a difficult situation that week etc.\n\n\nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact.
