DESCRIPTION:Phlebotomy Training for all professions in Primary Care who intend to undertake Phlebotomy \nPlease note this is only for staff who currently work in Primary Care within Lancashire and South Cumbria \nThis phlebotomy venepuncture training course is aimed at all healthcare staff\, specifically registered nurses\, carers and support workers who’s role include taking bloods.\nThis is ideal for staff who are looking to improve their skills in venepuncture.  \nLocation: (1st Floor Conference Room) Fatima Health Centre\, 228 Garstang Road\, Preston\,  PR2 9QB \n\nThe Venepuncture Training will aim to improve the students’ knowledge of the theory surrounding venepuncture including: the correct order of draw\, the anatomy of veins and how to select a suitable site – allow students to practice using a synthetic arm.\nPlease note: This course contains a full practical (face-to-face) session.\n\nYou will receive a certificate post-training for your attendance. Places are limited\, if you have booked a place\, please ensure you attend.\nIf you are no longer able to attend\, please cancel your place.
