SUMMARY:NHS Travel Vaccinations Update Training
DESCRIPTION:The NHS Travel Health Update provides an annual update of current practice in relation to the travel immunisation schedules in primary care using PHE information.\nThis course is not suitable as foundation training and is only an update\, attendees must have completed a 2 day Foundation Travel health course previously.\nPlease note\, L&SC PCTH does not provide the Travel Health Foundation Training.\n The training does not cover anaphylaxis or basic life support. This must be completed separately.\nThe content only covers the vaccines that are available on the NHS and does not provide detail of a full travel Health consultation.\n\nThe course is designed around the updated National Minimum Standards and the competency assessment tool. \nPlease see the link below for a copy of the competency assessment tool for registered practitioners: https://www.rcn.org.uk/professional-development/publications/pdf-006943 \nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact.
