SUMMARY:Understanding Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake  Disorder (ARFID)
DESCRIPTION:This course is aimed at practitioners working with children of all ages\, including older\nchildren and adolescents\, who have a very restricted diet.\nChildren may refuse foods in an extreme way or may seem uninterested in food and lacking\nappetite. The range of food that they accept may be very restricted and there may be\nconcerns about health and well-being. The child may dislike social situations involving food\nor be uncomfortable with certain smells\, textures or look of foods.\nThe training package is delivered FREE over one day\, delivered remotely for CAMHS and\nVCFSE EHWB practitioners\, and contributes towards CPD with a certificate of attendance\non completion of the day.
