DESCRIPTION:The FeNO masterclass is designed for all healthcare providers who are performing and interpreting FeNO for the diagnosis and management of patients with asthma. \n\nThis session is suitable for those who are new to FeNO testing or as a refresher to update current knowledge. \n\n\nThe online education session is delivered by Karen Frankland\, Primary Care Respiratory Nurse and Lead Nurse for Education and Clinical Support for NIOX Healthcare. \n\n\nThe non-promotional\, hour-long session includes an overview of type 2 inflammatory airways disease\, measurement of nitric oxide and interpretation of results. SUMMARY:Spirometry Skills Workshop - Lytham Face to Face
DESCRIPTION:Available throughout the year at Room SF89\, Darwen Health Centre\, James St W\, Darwen BB3 1PY \nThe session will include verification of the spirometer using a 3 litre syringe and an opportunity to practice performing spirometry with an experienced clinical educator. \n\nThe workshops welcome General Practice Nurses\, Health Care Assistants\, Nursing Associates\, Trainee Nursing Associates\, Advanced Nurse Practitioners\, Student Nurses\, Student Nurse Paramedics\, Physician Associates… anyone with a clinical role within Primary Care that is already trained in spirometry \n\n\nPLEASE BRING A DISPOSIBLE MOUTHPIECE TO THE SESSION \nPart of the training involves active participation including performing spirometry. To take part in this you will need to complete the following consultation form on the day.
