DESCRIPTION:This is a face to face session in Preston at address \nFatima Health Centre\, 228 Garstang Rd\, Fulwood\, Preston PR2 9QB (1st Floor)\n\nThis session is part 2 of our basic wound care course and must only be booked when a place has been secured on the full day virtual session\, \n \nThis session will cover\nGroup tasks looking at wounds and burns and agreeing a treatment plan and management \n\nDressing packs and aseptic technique\nHow to describe a wound\nHow to photograph a wound\nWhen to refer\nHow to complete Les template\nCodes for ordering\nWhen to wound swab and when to change dressing\nWound healing and monitoring\nClip and suture removal\nThe sessions are held in groups of 10-12 only and led by our supertrainer Abigail Holman. They will be held in Lancaster\, Lytham and Preston. More dates in other locations will be released soon. The times are 9:30-12:45 or 1:15-4:30
