SUMMARY:Clinical Supervisor Training for Nurses
DESCRIPTION:This training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​ \nWe have changed the format of this training based on feedback. \nYou will receive the training slides for this event 7 days prior to the scheduled date for you to read through and digest in your own time- please book some time to do this. \nOn the training day we will meet for 90 minutes to discuss clinical supervision and to answer any queries you have. \nThis training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​\nAims\nHave an increased knowledge and understanding of Clinical Supervision\, linking theory to practice ​\nDifferentiate between Clinical Supervision and line/performance management and between Clinical Supervision and teaching​\nNegotiate Clinical Supervision contracts and structure processes\, accordingly\, taking in to account individual learning styles\n​Develop reflective interpersonal and supervisory skills such as: reflective practice; giving guidance\, joint problem solving\, and offering feedback to enable the development of effective supervisory relationships.​ ​​ \nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact. SUMMARY:FeNO Masterclass: Asthma and Airway Inflammation
DESCRIPTION:The FeNO masterclass is designed for all healthcare providers who are performing and interpreting FeNO for the diagnosis and management of patients with asthma. \n\nThis session is suitable for those who are new to FeNO testing or as a refresher to update current knowledge. \n\n\nThe online education session is delivered by Karen Frankland\, Primary Care Respiratory Nurse and Lead Nurse for Education and Clinical Support for NIOX Healthcare. \n\n\nThe non-promotional\, hour-long session includes an overview of type 2 inflammatory airways disease\, measurement of nitric oxide and interpretation of results. There will be case study discussion and practical pointers on implementation of the NICE/BTS/SIGN asthma guidelines. \n\nThere will be an opportunity to complete a short online survey following the training and a certificate of attendance will be issued by the training provider.\n\nIf you have any additional needs or requirements to attend this session\, please contact us at mbpcc.lscthub@nhs.net
