DESCRIPTION:This training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​ \nWe have changed the format of this training based on feedback. \nYou will receive the training slides for this event 7 days prior to the scheduled date for you to read through and digest in your own time- please book some time to do this. \nOn the training day we will meet for 90 minutes to discuss clinical supervision and to answer any queries you have. \nThis training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​\nAims\nHave an increased knowledge and understanding of Clinical Supervision\, linking theory to practice ​\nDifferentiate between Clinical Supervision and line/performance management and between Clinical Supervision and teaching​\nNegotiate Clinical Supervision contracts and structure processes\, accordingly\, taking in to account individual learning styles\n​Develop reflective interpersonal and supervisory skills such as: reflective practice; giving guidance\, joint problem solving\, and offering feedback to enable the development of effective supervisory relationships.​ ​​ \nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact. It provides an interactive half-day with scenario-based learning\, quizzes\, presentations\, time for discussion and questions. \n\n\nThis course is relevant for Menopause Care providers needing an introduction and provides a useful update for more experienced staff. Courses are delivered in a variety of locations across Lancashire and South Cumbria. The cost is stated in the non funded ticket section \n\n\n\n\n\n\nA Safe Surgery can be any GP practice that commits to taking steps to tackle the barriers faced by many migrants in accessing healthcare. The Safe Surgeries network offers training\, support\, resources and expertise to the GP practices that are part of the network. \n\n\nWe invite all practices to attend\, even those accredited as Safe Surgeries. The invite is open to clinical and non-clinical practice staff. We would like to welcome as many practice staff as possible particularly those working on reception. \n\nThe aim of this training is:\n\nTo provide an understanding of entitlement to NHS Care in England\nTo understand the barriers faced by refugees and migrants when accessing healthcare\nTo share practical steps to create an equitable and welcoming GP Practice for everyone\nTo recognise how important all staff are in a person’s healthcare journey\n\nPlease contact safesurgeries@doctorsoftheworld.org.uk with any questions.
