SUMMARY:Clinical Supervisor Training for Nurses
DESCRIPTION:This training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​ \nWe have changed the format of this training based on feedback. \nYou will receive the training slides for this event 7 days prior to the scheduled date for you to read through and digest in your own time- please book some time to do this. \nOn the training day we will meet for 90 minutes to discuss clinical supervision and to answer any queries you have. \nThis training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​\nAims\nHave an increased knowledge and understanding of Clinical Supervision\, linking theory to practice ​\nDifferentiate between Clinical Supervision and line/performance management and between Clinical Supervision and teaching​\nNegotiate Clinical Supervision contracts and structure processes\, accordingly\, taking in to account individual learning styles\n​Develop reflective interpersonal and supervisory skills such as: reflective practice; giving guidance\, joint problem solving\, and offering feedback to enable the development of effective supervisory relationships.​ ​​ \nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact. Every other Tuesday at 1pm. \n\n\n\n\n\nTen Talks is a short\, sharp webinar series designed to share big ideas from across primary care.  Its quick accessible and focuses on real impact.\n\n\nEach session brings together passionate speakers who are immersed in primary care\, exploring innovative roles\, fresh thinking\, and practical approaches that are making a difference to patient care every day.\nThis session with focus on Cancer Awareness with Jason Feavers.\n\nTen Talks is intentionally simple and respectful of time: the first 10 minutes are recorded as a focused talk\, followed by an informal\, unrecorded chat where attendees can ask questions\, share reflections\, and connect more openly.\n\nTen Talks is rooted in a clear mission to attract\, grow and retain the primary care workforce.  The place for inspiration\, and connection across three of the largest and most complex health systems in England Cheshire and Merseyside\, Greater Manchester and Lancashire and South Cumbria.\n\n\nTen Talks – Short talks.
