DESCRIPTION:This training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​ \nWe have changed the format of this training based on feedback. \nYou will receive the training slides for this event 7 days prior to the scheduled date for you to read through and digest in your own time- please book some time to do this. \nOn the training day we will meet for 90 minutes to discuss clinical supervision and to answer any queries you have. \nThis training event will enable you to reflect on and further develop your knowledge and skills necessary to your role as a locality clinical supervisor and relevant for clinical supervisors​​\nAims\nHave an increased knowledge and understanding of Clinical Supervision\, linking theory to practice ​\nDifferentiate between Clinical Supervision and line/performance management and between Clinical Supervision and teaching​\nNegotiate Clinical Supervision contracts and structure processes\, accordingly\, taking in to account individual learning styles\n​Develop reflective interpersonal and supervisory skills such as: reflective practice; giving guidance\, joint problem solving\, and offering feedback to enable the development of effective supervisory relationships.​ ​​ \nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact. DESCRIPTION:This online Primary Care Chaperone course is designed for non-clinical staff who may be asked to act as chaperones and require formal training in intimate examinations. \nAbout this course: \n\n\nGMC and CQC Aligned: This course meets strict standards set by the General Medical Council and Care Quality Commission\, ensuring you receive training that complies fully with healthcare regulations.\nCulturally Sensitive: We raise awareness of cultural diversity so chaperones can ensure all patients feel safe and respected\, regardless of background or identity.\nInteractive and Engaging: Delivered over three hours\, our training encourages conversation\, questions\, and sharing of real-life examples.\nFocused on Primary Care Settings: Unlike generic chaperone courses\, ours is specifically tailored for general practice staff.\nIn-Depth Understanding of Intimate Examinations: Learn to appreciate each patient’s unique preferences and vulnerabilities\, and become aware of unconscious biases that may affect patient comfort.\nSafeguarding and Reporting: Understand your role in safeguarding and how to report any concerns or complaints raised before\, during\, or after the examination.\n\n\n\nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to interact.
