DESCRIPTION:ARE YOU A LEAD NURSE? \nIf so\, then we are inviting you to join us on 30th June at SHOUT in Preston for day one of our FREE Leadership Development programme (day two to be confirmed in February 2027)\nWe are delighted to welcome Jana Kennedy\, an experienced management consultant\, facilitator\, and leadership coach\, who will lead both sessions. This programme is designed to provide space for reflection\, connection\, and development\, supporting Lead Nurses to strengthen their resilience and leadership capabilities in times of change. \n\nPCN Lead Nurses are invited to our leadership day on 30th June at SHOUT in Preston 9.30-3.30 for Day one of our Leadership programme. the second date will be confirmed in February 2027. \nWe are delighted to welcome Jana Kennedy\, an experienced management consultant\, facilitator\, and leadership coach\, who will lead both sessions. This programme is designed to provide space for reflection\, connection\, and development\, supporting Lead Nurses to strengthen their resilience and leadership capabilities in times of change.\nProgramme Aim\nTo enable Lead Nurses to reflect\, reconnect\, and enhance the resilience and leadership skills needed to navigate change effectively.\nWhat the Programme Will Cover\nAcross the two days\, you will explore:\n\nResilience\nValues\nTrust\nPersonal preferences\nLeading through change\nCoaching skills\n\nDay 1: Aims and Objectives\n\nExplore resilience within a leadership context and identify practical ways to sustain it\nClarify personal values and how these underpin purpose\, wellbeing\, and self-care\nStrengthen understanding of trust and how to build it within teams and relationships\nIntroduce coaching as a leadership approach to support reflection\, confidence\, and growth\n\nDay 2: Aims and Objectives\n\nReflect on key learning from Day 1 and how it has been applied in practice\nExplore personal preferences and how they influence responses to change\nDevelop greater awareness\, adaptability\, and confidence in leading through change\nPractise coaching skills to support others in feeling heard\, supported\, and empowered\n\nCoaching and mentoring have been shown to enhance leadership\, resilience\, confidence\, and teamworking\, making them highly valuable approaches for Lead Nurses navigating change.\nAdditional Information\nWe will reimburse your Practice/PCN for your time\, providing 6 hours backfill per day at £45 per hour\n\nYou will receive a digital CPD certificate from Medtribe once you have completed the survey. \nPlease note pictures and videos will be taken throughout the day and the conference will be recorded.
