DESCRIPTION:Self-Supported Management Training (formerly PAM) can make a valuable contribution to assessing a person’s ability to self care at any given time. This training helps support next steps on what would be needed to increase an individuals levels of knowledge\, skills and confidence in order to improve their health and wellbeing outcomes. It can be used to tailor interventions to individual needs\, significantly increasing the likelihood that people will adopt behaviours that contribute to better health. \n  \nPlease Note: This training no longer covers the Flourish tool. \n  \nThough this course is offered to you fully funded\, please make every effort to attend once you have enrolled\, or make us aware so that someone else may benefit. SUMMARY:Midwifery: Immunisation and Vaccination Foundation Training
DESCRIPTION:The Immunisation and Vaccination Foundation Training is a blended learning programme for Midwifery staff. \nIn line with the Public Health Englands (2018) Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners\, we have developed a blended approach of both an e learning and a face to face taught course. \nThose new to immunisation are required to receive comprehensive foundation immunisation and vaccination training as recommended in the guidelines. \n\n\nThe Immunisation and Vaccination Foundation is a blended learning programme.\nThis is for Midwifery staff new to providing Immunisation and Vaccinations\nThis course does not cover anaphylaxis or basic life support. This must be completed separately.\n\nIt is mandatory you dedicate one full day to complete the eLearning modules which must be completed prior to attending the live session on MS Teams\n\nOnline e-learning\nThe programme website is:–https://portal.e-lfh.org.uk/myElearning/Index?HierarchyId=0_39333&programmeId=39333\nThe programme is free to access just register to use the e-lfh portal. \nHere is the list of e-learning modules you are required to complete \n\n\nImmunology\nVaccine Preventable Disease relevant to your practice: Influenza\, Covid\, Pertussis\, RSV\nCommunicating with Patients\, Parents and Carers\nLegal Aspects\nVaccine Storage\nVaccine Administration\n\n\n\nLive Training Session via MS Teams\n\nThis will be held virtually on MS Teams 9.30-3pm. \nOn completion of booking you will be sent confirmation via Medtribe. This confirmation email contains the booking link to access the live MS Teams . Please block this date in your calendar and save the access link. \nThis link will also be available in your Medtribe account under “bookings” \n\nThis is an interactive session and you will be expected to engage.\nPlease ensure you have a camera and microphone available to attend the meeting.
