Mouth Care Matters Network 2024-2025
Marie Curie’s newest ECHO network will focus on ‘Mouth Care Matters at the End of Life’ aimed at Student Nurses and Trainee Nurse Associates. The purpose of this network is to create a community of future professionals from different clinical backgrounds keen to improve the experiences of those they support and those important to them.
It will feature expert speakers who will present on a variety of topics in the field of mouth care within palliative care. They’ll be available to answer any questions, provide up-to-date advice and practical skills that students will be able to take with them into their future career.
The first session is on the Wednesday 24th April 2024 14.00-16.00 and is a Curriculum Setting session where participants can build their own curriculum and have a say in what they want to learn in the rest of the network. If you support any trainees or students within your team or organisation, please do forward this on to anyone who may be interested.
Those who may be interested can register for the network here: Project ECHO Mouth Care Matters network (mariecurie.org.uk) – Attending the first session is advised but not compulsory, so if unable to the date above, please do register to hear about all the future session. In addition, if anyone is interested in exploring any other offers from Marie Curie, other networks we have running are listed here: Marie Curie Project ECHO
This network is open to all student nurses and trainee nurse associates, irrespective of stage of training, experience, or background.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of a network detailing the sessions they attended which can be used as evidence of their own CPD.
