HEE North West NETS Webinar (Nursing, Midwifery, AHPs and Advanced Practice)

Event placeholder

Join us for a regional webinar exploring the findings from the most recent National Education and Training Survey (NETS) conducted in November 2021, the implications for trainee nurses, midwives, AHPs and advanced practitioners, and as we look ahead to NETS 2022.

The NETS is the only national survey open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students and trainees undertaking a practice placement or training post in healthcare as part of their education and training programme.

The survey gathers opinions from students and trainees about their time working and training in practice placements and training posts, asking them to provide feedback on what worked well and what they think could be improved.

This regional webinar is open to all colleagues across the North West of England who have a role in supporting healthcare students during their training.

The aims of this webinar are to:

  1. Provide an overview of HEE’s role in supporting the quality of practice learning.
  2. Share key regional NETS findings in relation to student nurses, student midwives, student allied health professionals, and trainee advanced practitioners.
  3. Support next steps and action plans at national, regional, ICS and trust level.
  4. Support further improvements in student participation rates for NETS 2022.

Following a series of presentations we will be hosting a short Q&A session.

You are invited to submit questions to the panel in advance at the point of registration. or you can simply participate in the discussion at the time.

Registration will close at 5pm on Friday 20th May
